Aylestone Athletic RFC

The 1st XV make a long awaited return to the midlands leagues this season 24/25. We have seen an influx of players and supported by our coaching staff, lead by Paul Toon we have put in some excellent performances, all coming together in time to claim the coveted LRFU Presidents trophy once again in 23/24.

Building on our solid performances and moving to the leagues we look to take Ath rugby and ethos to the midlands leagues and our aim going into this league is to be as competitive as we have in our LRFU Merit leagues for the last few years.

We always welcome new players and members to the club, we train collectively in pre season and throughout the year.

We may have a 1st and 2nd XV and we want to have both these teams playing and socialising week to week and being part of our Ath family. But we train as one and the focus remains on building our numbers there to improve our rugby.
